One Company, One Vision, One Future

Our Competitive Edge

We specialise in acquiring exceptional British companies, ensuring smooth succession for business owners.

Secure your legacy long-term

We are not a Private Equity or a strategic trade buyer. We are a solution to business owners without a transition plan seeking to exit.

Our goal is to acquire one business, and grow it over the long term. We hope to build on your legacy and be your successors so you continue to feel proud of your company.

Flexible buyers

Our aim is to understand your business and your goals for the future.

We can offer you a simple full exit or have you stay on board as a co-investor, and accompany us in our journey.

We come with a full-time CEO who will take a hands-on approach and understands the importance of people in business.

Our objective is to build on your current management team, and foster the culture that you worked very hard to build, allowing you to move on.

Redefining Ownership

Differences vs Private Equity

Differences vs Trade Buyers

What Makes Us Different

We Hold Business for the Long-Term

No "Synergies"

We do not buy businesses with the aim of selling after three to five years. We are long-term owners, valuing the future over short-term gain.

Prudent Use of Debt

Remain Independent

We do not try to maximise the amount of debt we place on the companies we buy. We are patient owners, and will not trade longevity for a faster return.

Your business will maintain its independence, keeping its brand, and continuing to operate largely as it did prior to Epilogue's involvement.

No Jargon, No Fees

Streamlined & Deliverable Process

We prefer the common sense approach. We avoid jargon wherever possible, and do not charge monitoring or other fees to our companies.

We pride ourselves on setting clear expectations, moving at speed, and not signalling interest in opportunities we are unlikely to close.

Trade buyers typically look to achieve “synergies,” removing staff in order to improve their returns. We value your culture, and want to keep your team intact.
